Deep Calls to Deep, Acrylic on Mylar. 

    In this series I intended the ocean to be a symbol of our lives, sometimes rough, sometimes serene, often uneventful. The title, Deep Calls to Deep, is taken from Psalm 42:7, which uses the ocean as a metaphor for the depth of the human soul calling unto the depth of God.
